This lovely fly-fishing-only lake is perched just north of Cougar on FR 81, which leads to the Kalama Horse Camp and to the south side of Mount St. Helens. Float tubes, kick boats or canoes are a must on this body of water; boats with electric motors are permitted. A small campground is available with pit toilets. This can also be a day outing from Portland. A Discover Pass is required along with a Washington fishing license.
